Living Our Faith in Our Daily Lives . . .

Rev. Jeanne's ministry is focused on community inclusion by creating bridges among people and organizations in the community.

She says, "Our community members are in need of one another.  In this busy, digitized world—where reality is analyzed down to its finest parts, we need to understand our part of the whole.  And, our communities need us.

It is in the space between each other that we find the Sacred.  It is in that space 'between' where the possibility of individual and community transformation exists.  In that space where we build community together we will find the Holy.  There . . . we find something greater than ourselves . . . and we are transformed.  We are transformed even as we transform our larger communities.  Such transformation is a worthy use of our lives.

When people come together to work on social justice projects, they break the bonds of individualism and isolation that fragment communities.  They make sacred space for one another.  Together they explore the issues that tear at their hearts, and cause them concern for the future.  The issue and the passion can only come from them.  And, together, they partner with others to understand their place in the community, the assets they bring to the community, and the hopes and dreams of its members.  My role is to act as a bridge that links people to one another so that they can nurture and build their communities from the inside out."Member of the mywedding.com wedding planning community
